I would like  to donate $5000 to my favorite charity UMSA  not only because of my friend I've made there but also because it is such a noble cause.

Im gonna have a contest

Whoever on get big can tell me the best reason why they should be chosen for the money will win $5000 towards the charity of your choice or $500 dollars in your pocket which I will send you, and if you want I will donate the money in your name and send you the receipt so you can have it for tax purposes if you want. If you want the 500, you have to give me a good reason why you should get 500 instead of a charity getting 5000. Theres no particular reason for this, its just for fun.

Humane society, why? because I love animals and a lot of the animals @ humane society need medicine/care

also because the humane society does an amazing job of giving a shit when most people wouldn't, plus most of the other charities I think are worthless and scam most of their funds into 'administrative' costs like the manager driving a new lexus and wearing a $2000 hugo boss suit, humane society really does so much for homeless/sick animals, not to mention they charge next to nothing to adopt a pet from them!

 My mothers house burned down when she was a young girl, it was the middle of winter in Ohio and her family was left cold, homeless and destitute.
 The Salvation Army stepped up to help, they were given a place warm place to stay, hot meals and new clothes.
 I have donated cars, cash and other items to them over the years to try and pay it forward. I say put $5,000 into the kettle anonymously.

Very generous. Give it to your local humane society. A good reason? Take a walk through it and look into the eyes of the animals in the cages.  

I love animals too but personally I find it hard to justify donating large sums towards animals as long as there are humans who are in poverty around the world.
