Sorry, but I had to laugh at this.  I've got mates who've done this here in the UK, and it requires no qualifications, the job sucks, the pay is shit, and they hated it.

This is actually the lowest paid job you can get in America/N.America and often the 'managers' are 16 year old high school dropouts, telemarketing is despised by anyone that owns a home (since that's who most of them target) and these guys generally earn minimum wage; $7.00/hr

Call centre workers in the UK tend to be around 10-12k per year, with the Team Leaders getting 12-15k.  Depending on the employer, there may be bonuses and commission based on what they're selling, but it's not great wages.  Which is probably why call centres tend to have a high turnover of low-skilled personnel.

Same here, generally it's something kids do in the last years of high school to earn some 'weekend' money, anyone over 21 that works at a call center is considered a failed adult and laughed at and ridiculed, there's really no lower jobs I can think of in N.America even ditch diggers earn a decent living in comparison.

its a management position - £25k is only the starting salary   give me time. also its 3rd tier support. not 1st tier where the salary you are talking about is common.

i'd tell you who its with but the stalkers here would no doubt threaten to email them claiming i'm a peado etc if i did.
