Terrible - I went to the store to buy 15 loaves of bread and 8 gallons of milk - but all the idiot panic buyers had cleared the store out.

Do people have no sense?

The people in the south have to be prepared for snow.  They have no idea how long the snow will stay and when it's coming.  This is what they need to do....

Snow is just a big PIA
Ya gotta shovel it, plow it, move it
It's a PIA to drive in
It makes a mess of your car - salt and slush
Ya schlep all that crap into your car after walking in it
Ya schlep all that crap into your garage and then it melts leaving all kinds of crud

Snow isnt the problem, since Atlanta doesnt have snowplow.   It is the black ice on the roads that creates the problems, hence cars sliding into everything, since drivers don't get it.

Ron dropping the truth on you dipshits.  And euro's shouldn't even comment, you just use the trains to commute.  Most of you probably don't even own cars.  Here in the states most people commute at least 30 minutes to/from work.

STOCK UP!!!

  ;D

People act like they're preparing to be stranded for weeks/days  ::)

We're under a blizzard warning for the next 24 hours or so.  People at the grocery store were scrambling to stock up on years worth of food for crying out loud.   Don't people keep food in their house?  ???    Yes, I was there too, but I only stopped cuz it was on my way and I wanted some spinach.

Damnit!  I forgot milk  >:(

Americans are always thinking about and preparing for disasters.

It's like deep down, they want a disaster to happen so they can live out a Rambo fantasy.

Oh brotha...we've got like 30" snow in helsinki, swede's country has even more I've heard...
Then you know my pain, Just spent 3 hours clearing snow. Heavy as shit too. Clear like 10000 pounds of snow off my aunts deck.
And you fuckers say I don't work out.

P.S. Yanks I pity you guys, snows pretty sweet when you can go snowshoeing, skiing, play hockey, snowmobile,  Icefish, etc, but if it's only once a year it's a huge pain in the ass.

nah, americans been conditioned to live in fear. it'll be easier to take away their rights and freedoms as guaranteed by the constitution that way.

kinda like pavlov's dogs, but a fear/ response mechanism instead.
