The National Title is decided every year in the SEC championship, my friend......    ;D

Seriously, I think it's a toss up.  Oregon can put up some points in a hurry, but Newton is a wild card.  If push came to shove, I'd pick Auburn.

The mind games have already begun. Pay attention to the officials tonight is what I heard on radio this am.

If oregon goes no huddle mode and substitutes players on the fly the refs will allow auburn to run their subs in...if oregon goes no huddle no subs, refs will allow oregon to control their snap pace, so if auburn still tries to sub, they better do it fast.

this is what I heard from espn radio this am.

I'd bet on Auburn's cheating ass but I'll be pulling for Oregon.

Oregon has an average of 50+ points a game this year.... no way Auburn can keep up with that

Not so fast my friend......why then has the SEC DOMINATED the BCS Championship?  4 out of the last 5, I do believe.

I hope you're right but I am afraid the SEC will win its 5th NC in a row.

they have OWNED the BCS.  Even Tenn got in on it back in the day.  LSU, UF, Alabama.....  Does any other conf even have two winners?

^^^ this!

It's going to be close IMO, Oregon's no huddle is absolutely sick and having Auburn trying to keep up with that speed and conditioning might be their downfall. If I recall Oregon's line averages something like 231lbs as opposed to Auburn's at around 270-280.

No problem cheering for the "home" team, as it should be.  Oregon was VERY impressive in the games I watched, but you just always wonder how only being tested a couple of times a year effects a team.  Auburn was in some wars all season long.  It's a good match-up IMO.

and remember auburn got jobbed in 03 or 04(???) they ran the table and should have been playing for title vs USC but they let 1 loss OU in there and pulled the old "sec champ playing in sugar bowl this year" crap. since the nat. title was in rose bowl or orange that year..not sure but I know this messed up.

Yep....they got screwed royally.  Until we get a play-off, it always a possibility for someone to get left out that deserves it.  Greedy AD's and conferences are killing it.

This reminds me of the Texas-USC National Championship game.  Cam Newton/Vince Young and Oregon offense/USC offense.  Unlike that outcome though, I think Oregon will score too many points for Auburn.

over the past 12 years (1998 - 2009), the Pac-10 actually leads the SEC 11-9 (.550).
