Your top 5 workout songs?
« on: January 11, 2011, 12:41:56 PM »
My top 5:
Headstrong by Trapt  (Trapt's new album sucks! Nothing like their first or even second)
Your Betrayal by Bullet For My Valentine (FUCKING AWESOME)

Pornstar Champion by Scum of the Earth
Texas by Primer 55 (This song goes great when you're staring at all the fine ass in the gym :)
Burn It To The Ground by Nickelback (LOL Yeah Nickelback I know)

Fucking 24hr Fitness plays the gayest fucking shit whenever I go to the gym.  Tom Petty?  Yeah nothing like getting pumped and getting a good workout in jamming out to Tom Petty or the Eagles?  LMAO!

"Rocket Queen" - a gunner's classic!

Not much into metal at all and even less when lifting... maybe some old Manowar.

Yes but when you are working out to the Eagles or Tom Petty how the fuck are you supposed to get into your groove?  Or worse Eric Prydz??????

Israel son is SC classic!  Great song!

ive been working out in public gyms since i started lifting, normally the choice of music being played is out of my hands, and the gyms usually like to play top 20 garbage. ive learned to workout to every kind of music, to the point where something soft/slow, yet quality like tom petty could actually get me pretty pumped to lift heavy.

if i cant workout in silence, which i would prefer, then i would probably have to choose some good techno... this song is often played in gyms, and i like it for working out:

G 'N R:  Mr. Brownstone (Rocket Queen was a great suggestion)
Pink Floyd:  Careful with that Axe, Eugene (Dogs is a great suggestion by dj)
Black Sabbath:  Iron Man (if you can't get amped to this song, you suck)
Cars:  Moving in Stereo (anything you do to this song will be better than it would without it--anything)
Pink Floyd:  One of these Days (one of the greatest songs ever--Zane even posed to this song at one of the Olympias--me thinks he was using his special concentration glasses a bit too long during this cycle)
