Look at toby mcguire after.  He was still skinny just in better condition.
Spiderman height and weight: 5'10, 165lbs...If anything, the comic books have exaggerated his appearance.

Wolverine is supposed to be 5'3 and 195, but he is drawn like he is 5'3 250-260...especially depending on who draws him...Cpt American if drwn by joe Mad, look like he is 6'1 380, with traps thicker than a bull's neck.

x2.  Muscles sell... so they buff him up.  Over the years he has looked less like he was bitten by a radioactive spider and more like he has taken multiple injections.  ::)

They actually had a black dude who either tried out for Spiderman or molded his moves for the first Spiderman movie...they showed him wearing one of those suits with balls on them for the green screen...he was phenomenal...
