The sexiest car for 2012 by far. I REALLY want to get the CLS550 but it's alittle too steep. I was looking at the old E63AMG (469hp/~500lb ft) but it not being 4MATIC fucks it up since i'm in NY. I also love the updated E class. I don't like the interior of the previous E-Class. Also the CLS is a 4 seater which is a little bit of a bummer.
You are not going to find a AWD (4matic) AMG model unless it's the SUVs, just like the M models...which I would prefer the X5 M/X6 M over the AMG's SUVs.
My mother has a E350 with AMG sport kit, all the power she needs, and it looks sinister as well. I had her lok at a CLS a few yrs back and she didn't like it all that much---she has a thing about "colors".
Talked my brother into looking at the new C class coupe, and a C350.
Much to my chagrin, a guy I had met who was a staunch Audi man, stopped by and told me that thanks to me giving him the heads up on the BMW 1M, he had put down a deposit about a month or so ago--there will be a very limited number.
The only thing I find fault with the new CLS is that the rear seems over stylized and the rear lights seem odd, and that the square exhuasts seem to not match up with the rear lights, the Bentley Continental GT shows how to do it the right way. The front end, shows the adaptation of the LEDs, continuing the trend that Audi started, but it seems Audi has a more tasteful application of then. The whole front end of the CLS63 is very aggressive, and I'm overall very pleased with the design.
Inside, it looks very "teutonic" yet business like, possibly a lighter color of leather and interior trim may warm it up a bit. I really like the AMG wheels.
