EXCLUDING FOOD AD ENERGY!!!!!!

ha ha ha ha you moron!
I put that definition there for a reason, not by accident, dipshit. The only moron is YOU, PEA BRAIN.  ::) You spend all day posting on getbig and masturbating, I analyze economic data for a living.

There is a reason economists utilize Core CPI when evaluating real inflation:
This method has become the most widely used because food and energy prices can be very volatile, and this wide amount of movement would unfairly bias the measure of inflation.

Are you going to blame Obama for the fluctuation in the price of oil and corn? If so, what executive order can a president enact to immediately alleviate this problem?

Problem is that the regulatory uncertainty as well as th skyrocketing costs of health care due to bamacare offset any of those cuts

Just sayin.
Looks to me like healthcare costs have been skyrocketing for some time, prior to any so-called "Obamacare."

Yes they have, and instead of dealing with the economy, bama and the dems did health care, which did nothing to ring down the premiuims and costs to businesses.

I thought what helps the economy are tax cuts, ala Reaganomics and the "trickle down" theory.  ???

What tax cuts? All they did is extend what was already in place.

::)

Quote
Some basic facts:

    * Obama has passed 25 separate tax cuts.

    * Obama’s stimulus package included $300 billion in middle class tax cuts — one of the largest in history.

    * The recent healthcare reform law includes tax credits and savings for small businesses and working people.

    * Unlike President Bush’s 2001 tax cuts, which went to the wealthiest 2.2%, President Obama’s tax cuts overwhelmingly benefit working and middle class families — 95% of all Americans.

Here are some of the new tax credits available through the Recovery Act alone that you may be eligible for:

    * The Making Work Pay tax credit – Ninety-five percent of working families are already receiving the Recovery Act’s Making Work Pay tax credit of $400 for an individual or $800 for married couples filing jointly in their 2009 paychecks – and will continue to see these benefits in 2010.

    * Tax credits for college expenses – Families and students are eligible for up to $2,500 in tax savings under the American Opportunity Credit as well as enhanced benefits under 529 college savings plans, which help families and students pay for college expenses.

    * The Homebuyers tax credit – Homebuyers can get a credit – up to $8,000 for first-time home buyers and up to $6,500 for upgrade homebuyers – for homes under contract by April 30, 2010 and purchased by June 30, 2010 under the Homebuyer tax credit. Over 1.7 million households have already taken advantage of the First Time Homebuyers tax credit.

    * Tax credits for energy efficient renovations – Taxpayers are eligible for up to $1,500 in tax credits for making energy-efficient improvements to their homes, such as adding insulation and installing energy efficient windows.

    * The vehicle sales tax deduction – Taxpayers can deduct the state and local sales taxes they paid for new vehicles purchased from Feb. 17, 2009 through Dec. 31, 2009 under the vehicle sales tax deduction.

    * Expanded family tax credits – Moderate income families with children may be eligible for an increase in the Earned Income Tax Credit and the additional Child Tax Credit.

    * Tax-free unemployment benefits – Thanks to the Recovery Act, individuals who received unemployment insurance in 2009 do not have to pay taxes on the first $2,400 of such earnings.

$300 billion of which were middle class TAX CUTS, not "credits." Sorry this hurts your feelings and does not fit the FOX News narrative.

Interesting. I guess Reagan wasn't so great for the economy in your eyes.  :o

What is the best way to stimulate the economy in an economic downturn according to you, PB?

Bullshit, you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. Those of us that actually have to work to earn a living know the real deal, not societal leaches like like yourself. How's that section 8 housing working out for you?

He was great - but the theory of trickle down is not all that perfect.  hoever, compared to the crap from the left, its far better.

They haven't. Thanks to BUSH'S tax legislation.

Now, how about the rising cost of food, gasoline, insurance premiums and that 8% UE, I mean 9.5% UE (which in reality is about 20%)?

Federal? they haven't, but only because the tax cuts that were already in place didn't sunset. State - 67% thanks to the lame duck fucking democrats. Cost of living well that is kinda hard to calculate, but I would say food on the average is costing about $45 more per visit to the grocery store, gas prices up........

So lets go through the list:

Making work pay : $400.00 - $7.70 a week, wow in a month I might be able to afford to take the family to a movie, no popcorn of course.

Tax Credit for college expenses: Already graduated college, kinds in middle school, not to mention the fact that the government took over the student loan program - wash

Home buyers tax credit : Hmmm already bough my house, guess I would have to buy another and take on another mortgage to benefit from that ::) Oh wait its only for first time home buyers

Tax credit for energy efficient renovations : So I would have to go out and spend an assload of money to get a $1500 tax credit? No thanks.

Cash for clunkers : Well hell lets just go out and buy anther car ::) Oh damn that expired

Earned income tax credit expansion : Giving more tax breaks to those who get all the tax they pay in at the end of the year, so how is that going to work, they get more back than the tax they pay in? Sounds logical to me ::)

Tax free unemployment "benefits" : Its at what 99 weeks now, how long can we afford to pay people not to work?

Really? Where is the tax cut? It is a bunch of credits that you may or may not qualify for, most of which involve the person having to spend 10x what the tax credit is.

What are you a 240 gimmick?
