Laval and all the way across Ontario to almost Lake Ontario I remember it now heat or hydro for over a week (-15 ect) and couldn't leave the house everything was literally covered in inches of ice. Vehicles were almost impossible to get into let alone drive, with all roads and flat surfaces being like a skating rink.

The region essentially shut down for days on end until everyone could get their ducks all in a row.

Yep, first time I was there everything was solid ice and there was a power outage too. Thank God the hotel I stayed at had power. Plus the French girls helped ease the pain.

Damn....thats cold enough to freeze shit in a chicken..... when i was stationed in iceland, we would get that type of weather....issued us these gigantic sub-zero parkas....it was still nasty cold.

I used to love the cold weather training.....but now I too don't care for the colder weather. Don't mind a little chill in the air, but not the sub-zero stuff.
