that was pretty good.  Bill Maher gets used to talking out of his ass because his panel and crowd laugh and agree with everythng he says no matter what.  little lemmings.

the only humor he knows is humor at someone else's expense.  he knows NO other way to be funny other than to be mean.

i am one of the biggest fans of stand up comedy.  I've seen just about everything and everyone.  It's easily my favorite entertainment on television.

Rickles and Leary are sprinkling truth into a completely facetious rant.  They obviously don't believe in or stand by anything they say on stage.  It's a performance for the sake of comedy.  Which is the reason why I watch.

Maher is the opposite.  He is there to spread a message.  He spreads his message through what he calls comedy.  Maher is simply verbally attacking one group to the delight of their rival group.  Sorry but thats the weakest form of stand up in my opinion.

To compare Maher's comedy with the likes of Dennis Leary and Don fucking Rickles in my opinion is simply wrong.

To be fair, I also don't enjoy Dennis Miller's comedy either.  Although I agree with him on more issues than I do Maher, I don't watch comedy to listen to political thinkspeak being spoonfed to lemmings who will laugh at everything the comedian says because they lean the same way politically as the comedian.
