???

Rush did a memorable piece on how conservative republicans are more depressed and overweight than their lib counterparts.  He blamed in it upon stress from actually giving a shit, and worrying about the future of the country - wearing it as a badge of pride.

Now, conservapedia suger coats everything and claims Repubs aren't overweight like libs...

i dunno... They also claim republicans are "not complaining, and instead taking practical action to improve one's situation"... and no offence, but libs (whiny bitches in their own right) tend to be outshined by the whole "i'm a victim" mentality from the GOP in the last 2 years.  how many times can a person be offended by a word from a pvt conversation?

Republicans Happier than Democrats
LiveScience:

"About 45 percent of Republicans said they were very happy, compared with 30 percent of Democrats. Republicans have been happier in surveys going back to 1972, the Pew study notes.

The reason might seem obvious, since "Republicans tend to have more money than Democrats, and—as we've already discovered—people who have more money tend to be happier," the report states.

But even after adjusting for income, poor Republicans are happier than poor Democrats, and rich Republicans are happier than rich Democrats.

What about religion?

Forty-three percent of people who attend religious services weekly or more say they're very happy, compared to 26 percent of those who go seldom or never."

Happiness Is ... Being Old, Male and Republican
LiveScience:

"Past studies have found that happiness is partly inherited, that Republicans are happier than Democrats, and that old men tend to be happier than old women.

And even before the economy got nasty, seniors were found to be generally happier than Baby Boomers."

"If you're thinking that Republicans are happy just because they perhaps make more money, that does not seem to be the case. The study that found Republicans to be happier than Democrats also showed that it held true even after adjusting for income."

DU largely hated the SOTU Address, I'm assuming we have a few more posts today like one at the top.
