Your back in Asia now?

 Yes I am.

And I gotta say, it's good to be back.

I'm not trying to slam the USA here, but man, the US is going downhill. I think it'll be a LONG time before I permanently move back there.

Depends what kind of club it is.

When I go to a douchbag club full of guidos and punk-ass kids I do feel foolish.

But there are lots of really cool clubs out there for intelligent people. Especially here in Asia there are lots of mellow clubs that are kind of like lounges with a good vibe. You can meet women and frink without the chaos and douchbaggery of "da club".

I also like to go to punk rock and heavy metal and goth clubs.

Chaos only goes to bottm bear motor cycle clubs......

I never went to clubs to get girls, just to have some fun with my mates or my girlfriend

Whoa, you have that backwards. Clubs were all about the girls in my day. I didn't necessarily go with the goal of picking up, but definitely networking with females. Bringing your girl to a club is huge mistakes in most cases. Rare to see a couple leave happy, unless they're high as fuk.

Of course not. It actually makes more sense since death is getting closer and you only have one life to live.

Good points Big Bobs.. jealousy is a big issue or factor in other's assessment of clubbing... nothing wrong with it..but it has to be the right venue... there are a ton of 25 or 30+ clubs where one can go and get loose.. nothing wrong with listnening to good music and pulling the odd pussy here and there:)

I left happy last time I went and I wasn't high.

By the way, 42 is hardly fossilized so saying he “looks real good for his age” is rather unnecessary.  Most of the guys in my gym are in their 40s and virtually all of them look great.  To me, a guy looking good in his 40s is a given.

I agree but you are comparing two different worlds.....Me and my GF have a good friend who bartends at a gay club so we will go there occasionally to get our drink on for cheap before we head out. you see a LOT more good looking in -shape older guys there...

They look their age, not trying to fool anybody, and are just attractive older guys....and the crowd is skewed older overall. Sometimes we don't even leave because she gets a kick out of me being the "hot chick" that gets hit on while she goes unnoticed for a change...It's all good. They play good music, make a stiff drink and for the most part the patrons are respectful and fun....except for the occasional FLAMING queer who either hates me because I'm a straight guy in "his" bar or refuses to take "thanks, but I'm not gay" for an answer  :P

Like i said earlier my buddy works the door at a very popular spot in Scottsdale so we will hit there too....and the guys(whole crowd actually) are a lot younger and the older guys mostly just look OLD...... LOL. you will see the occasional guy in his 40's trying WAAAAY to hard to look like he is in his 20's.

Loaded to the gills with GH....face drawn tight, manicured brows, and teeth so white they sear your eyeballs...wearing the very latest fashions. You know, like X-factor  ;D

I'm one of the few guys in his 40's that can still pull ass based on his looks....and you couldn't pay me to hang out in a club.  I could see if you work there or something...that's completely different. I have a friend who is 42, jacked-up and looks real good for his age.

He works the door as a weekend side gig at a popular Scottsdale club and the guy pulls in 500 a night shaking people down. Not a bad "weekend job"

prime cuts,

even if he worked barcelona(north scottsdale) he wouldn't pull that. why would i or anyone else give your fat friend money to get in a club anyone can get in for free

,if you look healthy and good looking it's not a bad thing at all in my oppinion to go to clubs filled with 20 year olds.

lol... what kind of stupid view is that anyway.

One of my friends is 30 and he went to club with my two other friends (21 and 22 year olds) and he hooked up with a 22 year old girl :P

Nothing weird about that... I guess some of you just like kai greene more  :-\

Sometimes I my self like to go to more "mature" peoples bars where they play live music... 25-33 year old women are just... much easyer to approach... they are less flirtateous but they are serious and don't play games... mostly...

Iv'e see it with my own two eyes....people don't want to wait on line and hand him 20 a head, he does it all night long.  The owner loves me and asks me to do it every time I go there and the money is his main selling point......they WANT older intimidating guys at the front door because...

A : they don't know everybody and won't let all of their friends in

B : they are reliable and don't get caught up in the "scene",,,, they are there strictly to make cash

C : they are Grown men, not so quick to go all MMA on a customer because he's being a dick.....that's the last thing anybody wants, cuz "fights ruin nights"

You obviously don't  much about how clubs really work, i was in the industry for 15 years....as long as the draw is correct (meaning it made enough money in cover) they don't give a fuck how much you make on the side. When i did it, there were the occasional times we would have to kick a few hundred into the draw so it hit it's number....because we made too much.

Then we take that money, and all the money the security personnel has made throughout the evening...be it tips from the VIP tables or letting people trough the side, or even charging people to use the VIP bathroom so they could wack down lines or whatever.....and we divvied it up amongst everyone.

Obviously the guys who pull the most get a bigger piece, but everyone walks with at least 80 bucks on top of their hourly

If I had a closet that i needed to "come out" of  GB would be the last place on earth I would do it.

I would imagine an actual normal person would go to friends or family, not a bunch of bloodthirsty "comedians" online

prime cuts,
well if you worked in LA i could see your point, but scottsdale, loaded to the hilt with its 30,000 dollar millionaires,  as they are referred to,  arent tossing "20 bucks a head around". thats a hoot. they have maybe 20 in their wallet to pay for 1 and a half drinks at 9.25 a pop, and thats if they dont tip. fronting with their oversized fake watches and elevator shoes to make them  a whole 5'9

8 guys working the floor and vip, and 1 at the door. 80 bucks is a good pull i guess. considering you dump the trash and buss tables all night, vip is a joke, i never once paid to drink in there with the 25 dollar bottles of moet they have in there and they sell it for 80. all the 40 year old dudes wearing their stripped shirts with skinny toed shoes that look like a witches shoe. fucking hilarious.

also prime cuts, you arent big, i guess most gym bodybuilders think that of themselves, and hey thats cool by me. only makes me that more impressive when i go workout with half the weight you use and i look twice as big.

fake cock!!

When I was 16-25 we used feel sorry for the 30+ "uncles" at the club, always thought those douchebags were having a midlife crisis.  If someones goal is to get married and they talk about it all the time then going to clubs and hooking up the dirty's is maybe the reason why they are no closer to being married then they were 3 years ago.

Jelousy is not a factor at all, it's pity, I had a fake id at 16 and clubbed non stop till I was 25 and then I had had enough and realized that I was getting too old for this.  When I still see my 30+ friends hitting the clubs trying to relive their youth I shake my head, of course some of them never had much of a youth and are still making up for lost time and I respect that even though they look silly.  :-*

Maybe they just want to booze and look at hot pussy.  Sometimes that's all it is.
