I agree with Geo ... and now watching the 2d segment .. I'm not real keen on Brock being able to be called "coach" .. it sure sounds like to me that he's along for the ride .. and it's a means to an end .... I keep trying to understand how Dana was thinking he could actually be of any help to some of the guys in the house for real anyway .. I'm sure he's going to outsize them .. so what kind of practicing can he really be hands on with .. I loved last season when GSP would take the fighters aside before their match and have one on one practice and talks with them .. this is no where near that level of "coaching" IMHO .. he's got a team of assistant coach's that will be doing the work
bah on him being a "mentor'
Two things to remember W8:
-Don't take everything that Brock says so literal. He plays the media game well (when he actually talks to the media)
-TUF is an entertainment/reality show that shows real life MMA fighters. TUF is NOT about TEACHING guys how to fight. Sure they can learn a few things while they are there, but let's face it, if the guys doesn't have it by the start of the season, they aren't going to figure out a way to learn enough to make themselves a champ.
Don't mistake that Brock was brought on for ratings, inspired by the fact that Cain is injured. He was not brought on to be an allstar coach.
This will be the most popular season of TUF in history.
