This is the first time I've seen sample size being an issue, especially when the sample size is one of the largest I've seen in a poll.

I apologize. You don't throw them around but there are people who do on here. And the sample sizes on those polls are always in the hundreds or low thousands.

38k of 1.5 bil is sufficient for me. You're not going to get much more in a poll as the costs and time sink far outweigh the results. Statistics is good at accounting for the sample size being a fraction of the population.

If religion is the cause of all this violence, then guns must also be the cause of all violence.  Same analogy really.  People skew things, people kill people, people believe in violence and use Islam as a crutch or way of justifying it to themselves.  Reality is most people do not act or think like that.

Guns are the same.  Guns kill people but only at the hands of a person.  So technically people kill people, people who believe in violence and use guns to commit violent acts.
