not sure quite what to call it obviously.  First Turkey, then Egypt, under a dictatorship for 30 years.  It'll get worse before it gets better and will affect the entire Middle East.  It could get awful and affect everyone worldwide.  I reckon it hasn't even started yet.

Our lot here have commented, condemning it, which is utter stupidity, but what else they gonna say? Provided the US don't start getting involved... We'll see.  It is troubling.



But do you not agree that it's madness to build (and rely upon, in your country) cars and highways yet produce no oil to speak of, it's insufficiency, it's just never going to work, someone should've seen it coming...  If the Middle East blows itself up, you'll be left stranded.

ps:  we could politely ask women with pushchairs and all their junkfood shopping and two other hyperactive kids to be considerate, rather than taking up the entire pavement and ignoring us pedestrians.  I used to offer to help them, but now I avoid 3:30pm because they're all coming out of school and you must get out of their way, they'll run you down and not apologise.  Glad I didn't have children though, phew.  I often feel like killing the whole lot.  You hold them down for me and I'll slap them.

Actually the US produces a good amount of oil but we are also hampered by enviromentalist cooks that try to restrict where and how we can drill for it...

I dont think it was a horrible idea especially when they thought of it 100 yrs ago...back then getting around meant using a horse and buggy and there also wasnt near the problem with oil and idiocy as there is now...
