Stated in a recent interview that he took steroids "ALL DAY EVERY DAY" from 1966 to 1987. He stopped in 1987 because he was having hip replacement. He was very honest in the interview and included he was a pioneer for steroid use in Pro Wrestling. Thought it was an interesting interview since I watched him as a kid. He's 67 now.

I just watched one of his "Classic Crusades" on EWTN. He did look very tall but not buff. I believe these are rumors and should be treated as that.

He's not long for the world. Drugs ruined him. New liver failing, all sorts of other issues.
Wheelchair bound most of the time.
Was one of the best, just over did it, didn't cycle, ate D-Bol like Skittles.

He spoke of 3-3ml syringes of test per week ( most likely at 200mg's per ml ) that =1800mg's and 25 Dbol per day ( 25 x 5 = 125 ) 875mg's per week. Over 2.5 mg's of gear . . . real pharm gear per week. That's some shit!!!

He didnt look all that great, but he did have amazing biceps and colossal size no doubt. And by looking at him dwarf Arnie in that pic he must have been one big SOB.

Apart from his size, his physique doesn't impress me at all. He looks like he wrestles bears lol. The WWE can have em!

His doctors say the steroids are probably the cause of some of his bone issues these days, and the reason for a hip replacement in 87'. His liver issue is from Hepatitis C which he got from fluid exchange in his wrestling years.

They would nick thier heads with a razor while near the end of a match. He said it was pretty much done weekly by both wrestlers for effect. Later it was discovered that some wrestlers had Hep C and he believes the blood all over both wrestlers resulted in the exchange and him coming down with it. In today's day, it is much more formidable to have HIV than it is to have Hep C. Hep C is way more deadly and is almost a guarantee for liver cirrhosis.

He has a new liver he got from a doner but the Hep C has already started to destroy that liver too. He says he is starting Interferon treatment sometime in 2011.
