I saw big Dan Hill at the tattoo parlour today.

He was having the words "Insert here" inked across his lower back with an arrow pointing downwards.

how does the skin get that rough, inhuman texture?  Is that the chemicals only?  If a natty (or most other humans) had the same level of bodyfat, he still wouldn't get that "look" of the Dorian graininess.

Sadly you're so correct. If someone looks that good, as Rockel does above, they shouldn't do anything drastic or anything exotic. Just keep doing what you've been doing; diet, exercise, stress levels....everything! No need to deplete and then eat 2x as many carbs as you usually do if you look good. Just cruise!

All these guys though end up doing the completely opposite and fuck it up. Every time. That's why they look so much better a few days before or a few days after.
