I remember on the reality show The Hamptons, there was this bber waiting in line to get into some exclusive club/bar and he was smoking a cigarette.

He looked uncool, and presented a ironic figure---bbing is supposed to be healthy, yet he's smoking...

Epic lack of lung capacity...

Do you avoid developing friendships with people who smoke?  I really don't understand why it bothers some people so much.  Seems like kind of a rude/elitist thing to be so adverse toward smokers, like people who obnoxiously cough when walking past a smoker.  When I didn't smoke I could care less.  Not letting someone smoke in your car or house I can understand.

I do not do it consciously, but I think I do avoid forming new friendships with smokers.  I have some longstanding friends who are smokers and I’ve kept them in my life, but I do not add new smokers to my circle of friends.  About a year ago I was interviewing job candidates and one of them smoked.  The smell was obvious.  None of us said anything about it, but that person was immediately eliminated from further consideration.

A few weeks ago I was in a car dealership for a test driver and the salesman smoked.  I thought I noticed it when he introduced himself, but in the confined space of the car (BMW X5) it was unmistakable!  I ended the test drive prematurely because I didn’t want to be in the car with him any longer.

The truth is smokers smell—often they stink.  They can’t smell the odor because they are inured to it, but they do stink I and don’t want to be around that.  The odor lingers in their clothes, hair, and on their breath—and no amount of breath minds or mouthwash can mask it.  In California smoking is not permitted in any bar or restaurant so I am always taken aback when I go out in other states and notice people smoking indoors.  The last time I kissed a smoker was about 15 years ago.  Never again.

Im not talking about competitive, I'm talking about the lifting...I first started back in HS, while running track...it kept me from drugs...

In college I would get up and lift weights and run on track....the health benefits of of bbing cannot be denied...it's when you get into the competitive aspect and the gymrat pack, when shit ain't  healthy...

And yes, smokers stink up everything they touch...and especially cars...and they eff up the environment---throwing butts out the window...there was a dude whose car caught on fire because a trucks threw his butt out and it went into dude's car (window down)...

Smoker's cars are the worse, smell like smoke, cigarette burns, and the glue of the ceiling is loose---causing the interior to droop.

I believe that is illegal discrimination Bay, though I support every employers right to not hire someone for any reason they choose...

There's nothing worse than getting into someone's car who smokes with the windows up. Even if they don't do it while you're in the car it always makes me gag. I've always found dipping to be much better because it doesn't smell as badly.

I don't like giving people rides...
I don't like it when people talk to me while they literally get as close as 1 inch away from my face...
I'm too homophobic to ever want bay to have me in his circle of friends  :P (J/K bay... no offence)

and that's why i smoke like a maniac

i'm around a lot of uneducated people from 3rd wold countries... when they eat one small meal at 6 am, then wait til 2 pm to put anything else in their mouths... and they have the worst B.O. ... a smokers smell and breath is like perfume  :P LOL
