Hogan's Current Height

I recently saw Hogan in a Rent a Center commercial with former Cowboys quarterback, Troy Aikman, who, at 6'4" seemed to have at least 2" on Hogan. Has the back surgeries shrunk Hogan to the point where he's now about 6'2"?

It's a very possible and fairly common occurrence in people who have back surgeries.
He's had several.
I think he's had a couple of knee surgeries, too; plus he's getting on in age.

Not sure if its truth or myth that one shrinks a tad with age but in his prime Hogan was a legit 6'5" tall. Factor in a weight of 302lbs and you have one big boy.

There is some truth, but I think it varies greatly; i.e. it doesn't affect everyone, nor does it affect everyone the same.
It's happened (to a noticeable degree) to quite a few people on my Mom's side.

Must have had the same guy measuring his height as Tully did his weight....238lbs..... ;D


I'd say Hogan's back surgeries have certainly contributed to him "shrinking" and it does indeed happen a bit with age as our spine continues to compress over time.  and with Hogan always carrying a lot of size/weight, that would also factor in.

Again, its just the angle. Unless the guy is taller. Taller doesn't equal "bigger". I know lots of guys in my gym over 6' that are skinny pipsqueaks.
