Beef, a proper chicken pot pie is truly nectar of the gods.
My wife made a French-ish version for me right after Xmas that was out of this world. There was cream cheese in the crust, which makes it totally not French.
In my version, I use an old fashioned lard crust recipe, and like my Mom, I poke fork holes so the pot pie has your name in it.
This year was the first time I was able to put "DAD" into the Crust and I honest to God shed a tear.
