Prince William admits: 'my Royal Wedding day nerves'
Wedding-day jitters and sleepless nights are normal experiences for most grooms. And it seems a future king is not spared bouts of pre-ceremony nerves.
Providing a rare insight into the pressures faced ahead of the Royal Wedding, Prince William has confessed to being nervous and daunted about marrying Kate Middleton in fewer than four weeks.
The 28 year-old admitted to being so nervous that his knees starting knocking during a recent wedding rehearsal at an undisclosed location. He also says he has also suffered through sleepless nights worrying about "the whole thing".
In a break from a training exercise at the RAF Valley base in Anglesey, he also confessed that marrying his 29 year-old fiancée in front of hundreds of guests – and the biggest worldwide TV audience since his parents' wedding in 1981 – remained "quite a daunting prospect”.
The Prince, who regularly deals with life-threatening situations as an RAF search and rescue pilot, acknowledged to being wracked with nerves about his pending nuptials on April 29.
