I already  ran the Hartford ING marathon in 09 and did a half marathon in September. I'm running my first of 3 marathons in 3 weeks in Mass. so needless to say it's gonna be cold.  So the next 2 weeks are going to be the roughest endurance wise. Doing 3 full and 4 half marathons this year. April I'm doing a half marathon in NYC. Oh don't remind me what my legs will feel like the next day, I dread just thinking about it.

Do you think being an ex-fattie gives you a cardio advantage?  I see some huge people rushing around all day doing normal things and I always wonder how strong their cardiovascular systems must be.  I guess after a while all that wear becomes too much though.

how would that give me an advantage? When I started my weight loss, I  could only walk 20 minutes on the treadmill

If you're severely overweight and active, it's like you're doing everything a normal person does, but with a weight-vest.  Makes sense that that would strengthen your cardio.

perhaps, but I tried to lift 150 pounds the other day and couldn't do it and I'm perplexed how the fuck I could walk with all that extra weight
