His flaunted rather impressive, albeit digitally-enhanced, washboard abs in the Spartan film, 300.
But now actor Gerard Butler once again has a six pack, but this time without a hint of computer-generated imagery.
The Scottish star proudly showed off his finely honed form as she strutting to the beach in Hawaii wearing a pair of black board shorts, some aviators and a messy head of hair.

The 41-year-old's incredible muscle definition shows that he has achieved those infamous hard-to-obtain creases.
The Hollywood actor was spotted paddling his way around in the ocean, where he looked to be gaining quite the tan, which further highlighted his rippling abs and muscular biceps.
Gerard's hard-body is a far cry from the portlier pot-belly he was sporting around the same time, last year.

Onlookers were shocked when the actor was spotted in Barbados looking noticeably heavier in January 2010.
Clearly packing on the pounds from the holiday period, many were left wondering if they would ever see the abs that made him so famous in the film, 300.
But this year Gerard appears to have kept himself in check, with some healthy eating and exercise.
Not particularly known for his sporting prowess, the actor has been getting into all sorts of activities during his latest holiday.
Before hitting the waves, he watched some kite-boarding and wind-boarding, and also enjoyed a spot of jet skiing with his friend Laird Hamilton.
Four years ago, Gerard created chaos when he sported similar abs in big budget flick, 300.
Playing Spartan King Leonidas, great debate sparked as to whether or not Gerard's incredible physique was real.
Many argued that his rippling stomach was all thanks to computer generated imagery (CGI).
But Gerard did go into training for film.
His work out involved building muscle, increasing muscular endurance, and stripping fat fast.
Gerard who is known for having a fondness for the night-life, also appears to have lately shed his hard-partying image.
And it may have something to do with a new up-coming film centred around sport.
According to reports, Gerard will be making his way down to New Orleans next month to shoot a new movie called Playing in the Fields.
It is said to involves sports and romance.
The romance comedy sees Gerard as a former soccer player who tries to win his ex-wife and son back by coaching his little league team.
The actor is also said to be producing the film through Evil Twins company.
