What is getbigs opinion on these?  Are they comfortable?  Gay?  I need a new chair and these look comfortable, who has any input?

That one doesn't look very comfortable (red x).

Are you talking for indoors?  Yes, they can be comfortable and not gay.  Seems like a lot of men like recliners.

What about an over-sized chair or chair and a half?  Prolly a little more versatile.

I bought myself a love seat/chaise from Ikea about 8mos ago. I nearly become hypnotized when I lay on the chaise...it's so comfortable. And after a hard days work, and harder workout, it's great to have a chaise and lay on it and just "vege out."

love 'em

funny though, isn't it, that I thought they were called chaise longue (long chair... it's French ?

with mad love from Linda in London England.

ps:  there was a story on the BBC news earlier in the week regarding how all countries now accept the US pronunciation and spelling of common words: across Europe, India and Africa plus in Japan and China...

It didn't cause an uproar, we just all had a bit of a laugh...

Chaise lounge?   lololol

please please please forgive me for this post, but it's funny.

You lot so very often lay yourself open to sideswipes, you're so blinkered, sorry...

A chaise longue is a long chair, yeah?

A two seater sofa/settee/couch (as you've posted above) for two people is a "love-seat", okay?
(although you could get about one American on a love-seat nowadays...

You call it oversized?   lolol

Apologies again for my sad silly humour...

I get a little tiny blue square with a question mark in the middle of it for your pic (I have a Mac)

I totally love Princesses' single bed 'chaise longue' in pink and green with yellow flounces, that's so my style, but I haven't got room for it.
xxxLinda

a neighbour of mine has an antique dentist's chair in one corner of his living room.  Honest.  But his is more modern than this I've posted below.  His is red leather and chrome...  It goes up and down, back and forth, you just push the pedals
