23's are the best IMO small enough to draw and inject. I still recommend always changing to a fresh pin after you draw, but this way you don't need two different size needles.

i use 22g 1.5" needles. although i'm currently using 21g bc a friend had some extra gave them to me. the only place i've shot is glutes. they say you need 1.5" to get past the fat and deep into the muscle (of the glutes). i've read that 1" is fine for somewhere lean like the shoulder. i had the most pain-free shot ever the other night. i had to heat up my test bc it was crystallized so i stuck a needle into it to hold onto the bottle. after it re-homogenized i shot. i felt seriously almost nothing. so the secret seems to be a warm needle. i would think 25g would be too small for the viscosity of the liquid.

I used the 22G again last night, in my right glute. Fast hard jab. No pain or swelling. My left glute is still not happy. I picked up some 25G pins today, I will let you know how they go into my quads.
I heat my oil, it flows so much nicer. Especially with the small gauge. I still want 23's but locally they aren't available....strange.

I can get them from the guy I get my gear, or I just walk into the pharmacy & ask the girl behind the counter. It's more expensive at the pharmacy. They cost about .30 cents each.

They don't even ask what for, name or anything. And the 25's work great.

that's not a bad idea but i'm sure they're harder to push

i always run my shit under hot tap so oil is always low viscosity when injecting , smooth like butter

Pull is harder, but I do heat my oil so it goes pretty good. As well it pushes good.
