Most people on getbig would look at that picture of the swimmers build and say "oh he's too small, he's a twink." But that look is a great look to have.

It's all about being cut and vascular.

Bulkyness is cool if your playing a sport like football, wrestling, powerlifting or whatever. But in everyday life I would MUCH rather have a swimmer's build.

Good thread.

I started out as the "swimmer" (as I was a swimmer for years)- Since I swam Butterfly exclusively, I soon became "built"- then I started pumping iron and I became the bodybuilder.

I currently reside somewhere between built and bodybuilder. Since I am now in my late forties, I can't decide which I prefer. One thing for sure though: I will keep my bodyfat low (at any cost)- even if that means I have to be less muscular.

Six pack abs year round or I start feeling like shit.
