who drinks sodas during there workout , caffiene free sodas like sprite

today i had a cola at lunchtime and did 60 lunges on my break. i found that it really helped, but i didnt want to get the energy from the caffiene in it. i regreted the cola and shouldve got a sprite. i feel i can deal better with sugar crashes then caffiene crashes

i ofcourse know that sodas are not healthy but if i drink one and i do 60 lunges or 60 pushups then to me it is

im thinking of either sodas or real sugar dranks that are good maybe. sometimes the sodas or sugar dranks act like a mental trick durng your workouts or maybe what sugar is what you really need if infact you do end up doing 60 pushups or lunges per 12 ounce of soda or sugar drank

gives gas and destroy your teeth due to the huge amount of sugar. Tons of sodium that get you even more thirsty... sodas= fail.

I know people who drink a two liter of Mountain Dew before training.  :-\ :-\ I would never do it, but it is what it is.  :-\ They say it helps digest protein afterwords.  ::) ::) But, whatever works for them.  8)

NC is the home of Krispy Kreme my friend.....I used to live near where the original one is in Winston-Salem......you could smell the doughnuts when you walked outside........  :)

I have to agree.  There is one straight across the road from my gym.... they also have a 5k in Durham where you have to eat a dozen during the run..... ;D   It was last weekend, I think....

 I quit drinking soda. It'll make you chubby like nothing else. It's just some extra shit that your body doesn't need. Sugar and calories and junk.

 I do like energy drinks but I go from the concentrates instead of huge cans.

Never soda, refined sugar is very unhealthy(of course you know this)...I fancy Pre workout formulas allot...1MR has an ungodly combo of caffeine/stims(they strongly advise only one scoop!) i do four....white flood/vengeance/presurge unleashed,all good...mixing the little instant starbuck coffee packs in protein drink delivers a bump as well.
