His actual job is to call the police if anything happens.  He has no authority other than that. Of course he can defend and protect himself.  Stavios stated that they were able to get them to leave the Building and were in the Parking lot.  Therefore they were not a threat to any patrons inside.  Why didn`t someone call the police from the start and as soon as they hit the parking lot, the police would have been there to meet the supposed rowdy bunch and no fight would have ever taken place?  

As to defending myself or a friend in the event of an attack, of course I would and I don`t think it would escalate further once they find out about a little thing called a concealed and carry permit.

i hate that indoor shit...i was in atlanta in 2002 i think for olympic national qualifier for bunker trap, and i went to the indoor arena and watched those guys...without all the gear they wear, and use they are just regular shooters...total letdown for me..never had any respect for indoor shooters after that...

some of them tried to cross over to bunker trap, and failed something aweful...a lot of them had to learn the hard way that in REAL shooting...money couldnt buy talent
