Not many views yet .... because it's a new ad .... but the numbers are starting to make it look like rugby is one day going to take over soccer.... it's fast, very physical and very exciting! It has as many countries playing as soccer does! Comments?

PS -- who else is going to the Rugby World Cup this year?

Rugby World Cup's are always good - New Zealand will be up there as usual. Scotland (my team) not so much...

dude...this is your 10th thread on the subject. it wont sell in north america because it's just sandlot football to kids. no way in hell you'll get 15-20k in a stadium to watch it like the mls even.

in developing countries...kids are too brittle from poor nutrition....so it will never over take soccer in south america. no way in hell Lionel Messi could take contact football hits without multiple breaks.

Che, I didn't make these stats up.... you can find the sports growth stats anywhere on the Net. The last Soccer World Cup was a disappointment in terms of exciting games and bad refereeing ... and if rugby keeps growing the way the numbers are showing then the claims are that globally it will catch soccer up. Plus the Rugby World Cup is played when the NFL is off-season.

that might be the only thing that gets it airtime in the US...

but you still have to compete with the world series and the NBA Finals....

regardless it would really be just a gimmick here in the US

but like BF said id much rather watch rugby than soccer thats for sure

Most Americans would rather watch rugby than soccer. It's a good sport and entertaining.
