Whatever you choose to do .. I think if you decide to get ripped you'd be quite impressive . Very good upper body balance

I dont have anything against you, and in my opinion I think 20 lbs would not be enough for you to lose to be "ripped".  It all depends on how lean you wanted to get of course, but to be "competition" ready, you would have a lot more than 20 lbs to drop.  Even if you had to go down to 200-210 lbs, that is still impressive at a low body fat.

20lbs wouldn't get him ripped. But he has quality from years of training on his body. So he drops the stomach and the quality will show. You can always get leaner but 20lbs would have him quite lean.

Compare this to Adonis's 'before' pics in that gay blue tight singlet and he had absolutely no quality (or muscle). It's a totally different story. Adonis looks good in great lighting because he's ripped. But he has fuck all size. Groink dieted down would have size. He should do it. He will look bigger overall.

Exactly. Groink could get as lean as Adonis and would look a lot more impressive than TA, who will never carry that much muscle ever.

Going off that pic i would say lose 20 pounds and he will be quite lean. He has good quality and no excess fat on bodyparts it's just a matter of getting the stomach down.
Try 40 plus pounds.

No hate Groink - reality. :)

I would have to strongly disagree.  Like I said, Groink is a man with muscles for sure, but 20 lbs would not get him "quite lean".

You guys are missing the point. He doesn't want to get 'quite lean.' That's kind of a fool's errand, anyway, for a natural. Kind of like trying to even out the legs of a table -ie. your table is at ground level. Guy is a big lad - a 20lb fat loss would certainly tighten him up, waist-wise, and would no doubt affect him a bit arm-wise, but he has seriously solid structure - traps, shoulders. 230lbs is significantly brick house-sized. Fark him.   ;D

20 pounds would drop his stomach down. He doesn't have that much to lose from other bodyparts, they are not carrying much excess. He would get quite lean, as i said you can always get leaner and leaner.

No, YOU are missing the point.  Anyone would agree that Groink would look "better" with 20 lbs less fat.  Everyone looks better with less fat, it's a given.  People were discussing "how much fat he has to lose to be RIPPED".  20 lbs will help, but wont get him "ripped."

Try to keep up with the rest of us  ;)
*Ahem* You didn't really read my second sentence, the one with the noted 'quite lean.'  Quotation marks are frequently used to denote irony.   :)

You got it all wrong... it's easy to get that lean... it's hard to have those full muscle bellys WITH ADDITION to that crisp ripped shape.

There's not one natural that walks around 165lbs looking like that

x2! devilsmile knows his shit
NO WAY, NO HOW that is lifetime nattie

Bingo! Theres a reason why goink always posts pix of himself in a tank. All arms and shoulders. Shareif called hinm out of this.

At 5'8" I was 185 at my heaviest, now I'm down to 150 with probably more muscle than I had then and I'm still not stage ready.  However, at 185 I could still see all my abs when flexed.  If you can't see abs at all then you probably have a larger percentage of your much heavier bodyweight to lose.

Your assessment of 190 lean does not seem entirely unreasonable for a 6'0" tall BBer.  I would guess you could do that if you have very good genetics for retaining muscle on a caloric deficit.  If not you might end up closer to 170-180.  Whoever said you need to lose 20lbs is not making any sense unless they just mean to have sharper facial features and a trimmer waistline.

I think you should diet down.  You will still have big arms, but more importantly you will live longer, and be able to keep a BBing look for many more years.  You are getting to the age where you are too old to be overweight without health consequences.  I mean no disrespect when I call you overweight.  Clearly you workout and carry a much higher percentage of muscle than most of the fatties in this overfed country.  Here's the thing though, your body especially your heart, does not like to be 250lbs even if there is a shitload of muscle.

I'm down about 20 lbs. from that, and i do look bigger. No disrespect, but it's no big secret that a leaner physique looks bigger

It's funny to see that pic, I was so waterlogged......but I was eating like a pig and training the heaviest i ever trained .... tipping the scales in the 260's.

Of all the top genetically gifted athletes that have to pass the most stringent drug tests, i.e. Olympic teams, I never seen anyone that could rival this guy's build.
