Since obamas budget is doa as it is, especially considering geithners bombshell yesterday, this is probably doa as well.

Finally harper has been begging obama to throw support behind the oil pipeline and bama hasn't said shit about it. Given this proposal, most likely obama won't get behind that and screw over both your country as well as us. 

I guess in bama the economy killers' mind its a twofer, screw over an ally like canada and screw over americans w continued record oil prices.

Never, but the sky high price of oil, and by extension, travel, is having a dampening effect on the economy. Placing any erxtra burdens on travel will only hurt.

I don't really see that actually. Air fairs are pretty much the same as they have been for the past 3 years, and by those numbers, are some of the lowest prices in the past 10 years.

Flying round trip across country for less than 500 dollars (as is common right now) is pretty damn cheap.

Yes.  Sessions and boehner both said its doa and geithener admited in testimomy that it creates an unsustainable debt problem for the nation.

Its not the point whether someone can afford to pay $5.50 or not, hes DISCOURAGING people from coming across. Regardless how "small" of an amount it is, hes going the wrong direction.
