i dont get what the point of 'planet fitness' is?

they dont want people to actually lift weights, or anyone who actually wants to get into shape, they only want fat middle aged women to show up and pat each other on the backs and say 'your doing great!!' as they walk on the treadmill for 2 minutes or do 5 curls with a pink 1 pound dumbell and then call it a day and go home feeling 'like they really accomplished something today'  ::)

what a fucking stupid place.

All they want is $$$.  One of the only gym chains actually opening new ones in this shit economy.  I'm not saying they are right, but if that is their "style" then why would that guy show up and not follow their gay-ass rules?  Like Calvin on here said, he has a lifetime free membership to the place, but it isn't his style of gym, so he doesn't go to it.

Pretty much. reminds me of those 'Curves' gyms for fat women, where all the windows are blotted out so you can't
look in or out so the fatties won't feel bad about how disgusting they are.
