No...315 squat in HS, especially Jr's and Sr's isn't a big deal.

What kind of squats though? I've seen lots of abominable "squats" done by high school athletes on youtube.

Remember this idiot trainer?  :D

Which one of those can squat 315? None, and they compete in powerlifting.  :D

Training and filming spandexed-up kids in your basement. Yeah. Nothing wrong there, Basile.

It's sad to think how Basile never fulfilled his potential. He could easily have climbed the ladder of the Catholic Church up to Cardinal I'd say.

The strength and condtitoning world had changed in HS sports. The advancements in training are incredible. The problem is most high school football coaches are also the S&C coaches with the focus and knowledge going more towards coaching football but, you can usually tell what kids (teams) have good strength programs, those are usually the ones that are at the top of the division. This why I have ahard time reading some the stuff on here.

Remember kids, if you can't squat 150lbs, you won't be able to squat 225lbs.
What a douche.

Mass243, while that may true with some high school players, drugs or not, S&C is light years and I mean LIGHT YEARS beyond anything bodybuilding training had to offer.
