Joe Roark had given a very strong case to Albert Beckles having a birth date of 1938 and not 1930. Apparently, the date on his passport looked like 1930 because the bottom half of the 8 was not legible or otherwise erased. That would still make him 48 years old in the clip above and 53 by the time of his last IFBB win at the 1991 Niagara Falls Grand Prix.

. I remember reading his story, he didn't have a birth certificate, his DOB was estimated on his passport.
Since no other pro has ever excelled at that level in their 50's or even mid 40's, except Freeman, and the one guy who did, doesn't have a birth certificate to prove his age

He doesn't even know when he was born. Based on that, I don't think he was anywhere in his 50's, not even late 40's. doesn't take away from the fact that he looked great but 55
