The best rock music of the 2000's
« on: February 26, 2011, 12:15:18 AM »
I think it was when Les Claypool teamed up with Buckethead and Bernie Warrel. God damn that shit was badass.

Look at how Buckethead kills it on the guitar. Also, do you think buckethead has some badass abs underneath his costume (bodybuilding related).

I don't follow that scene as closely as I do others, but it seems outside of a name and a little picture, Buckethead sure has done a damn good job "masking his identity."

How about all the time he is offstage, does he wear a mask then? Or does he teleport to and from his gigs so nobody can follow him and get a better pic?

Can someone else shed a bit more light on this?

That shit was badass. .....nice pick BFRS.

Buckethead is ridiculous. .....dude has monster technique and one of the few freaks who actually has musical chops and soul.....not just amazing manual dexterity

Long time ago, but it's supposed to be him.

That is the name and little picture I referred to in the other post. But do we have anything more than that on him? Or is everything else him and the mask with a bucket?

I love the interview with Ozzy Osbourne and what Ozzy says about BH. :D

This one?

"I tried out that Buckethead guy. I met with him and asked him to work with me, but only if he got rid of the fucking bucket. So I came back a bit later, and he's wearing this green fucking Martian's-hat thing! I said, 'Look, just be yourself.' He told me his name was Brian, so I said that's what I'd call him. He says, 'No one calls me Brian except my mother.' So I said, 'Pretend I'm your mum then!' I haven't even got out of the room and I'm already playing fucking mind games with the guy. What happens if one day he's gone and there's a note saying, 'I've been beamed up'? Don't get me wrong, he's a great player. He plays like a mutherfocker."

Yeah, that one! :D

Now, after going on a small "BH Quest," I found this website:

http://www.truthinshredding.com/2008/12/buckethead-unmasked-is-this-for-real.html

Showing this video:

at=136

and a few others on the first link.

Not sure if I call it interesting or what to call it, but it seems to contain the most amount of info on the real identity (outside of the name and pic you posted) on BH.

An enigma he is, and great at keeping his true identity scarcely known.
