I thought he already made his successful "comeback" last year?

Flex did an in-depth article, following him up until last February's Phoenix Pro contest (which he actually ended up winning).

Nobody said he was gay...and yes his shape is great, he is a poor man's Flex...and his best conditioning was when he turned pro in 1999 at 27-28 yrs old. And the 2005 Mr. O.

Well of course we are talking through computer screens as this is an online forum. It's not really convenient for a bunch of people to fly all around the country to one spot just to chit chat about bodybuilding. Also how many years has Melvin been a pro now and HE has wasted? Talk about watching the world go by, dude has wasted a decade at least by coming in out of shape, not doing shows etc. He could have cemented himself as a top Olympia finisher and now just does little things here and there to keep his name in the news to get a check. It's not a bit secret. I think we can knock the guy for wasting potential. He wants to compete now to get paid sure, go right ahead, but people are going to knock him and that is the way it is.
