Anyone ever have any trouble with APT Pro Gear?
« on: February 28, 2011, 12:22:34 PM »
I ordered some stuff from them... it never came.  No one there is replying to my emails or phone calls.  I had previously heard they were a reputable website to order from.  Any experience folks? Words of wisdom?

Have not used them, but similar complaints are all over the internet. Apparently this was a husband/wife run business or some such, and the wife moved on, so this fella is handling the whole thing by himself now. Most have said he does fulfill the orders, but they are late, and you need to pound him a bit.

Yeah, Alan (the owner) is a nice enough dude (and ex-Marine for what it's worth) but the last 12 or so months they've built up a reputation for late/unfulfilled orders.  He sponsored a meet I put on and sent out some pretty nice prize packages for us but around the same time I started hearing of a lot of regular orders that weren't getting taken care of.

I have been ordering from apt for multiple years and never had a problem, many straps with BIG ACH embroidery and work out belts, always a smooth transaction, strange experience you're having there

I've had a few other folks say something bout this also. Alan from APT use to sponsor me a few years back I sent a lot of folks that way and they never had any problems. But now all of a sudden this is happening lately. Damn you got me on this one!!! But yeah Inzer makes great products check them out.

I bought a pair of cotton straps from APT several years ago.
They've worn like iron, but it's getting time to replace them.
I was going to try their nylon straps, but now I'm reluctant after reading the comments here.

Anybody have any experience with Schiek brand?
