Nah, Branch got the density, thickness and grainyness Wolf could only dream of. Plus he's not lagging any bodyparts, winners have calves as well.

Still good showing by Wolf, should be 2nd or 3rd which is very good for him.

Spot on. If his conditioning stays the same or improves, Wolf will beat Evan and place 2nd.

Branch is thick but ugly. Blocky midsection and not very impressive arms- not much detail there.

lol What are you smoking? Wolfs arms are better than Branchs? New to me, have another look at the pics above.

Structure back and forth, Dennis looks like a fitness competitor next to Branch. Branch pd for pd carries the biggest amount of muscle on that stage while being the most shredded by a mile.

Branch's arms don't look great standing relaxed, but they look a lot better when he poses, which is the opposite of guys like Evan and Pakulski.

Branch's back could be tighter too, but going by the bodybuilding judging criteria, he wins this contest easy.

What do you mean is Branch what BB "should look like" what the hell does that mean?

He gets as big huge and shredded as he can. Yeah, thats what bbing should be like. He's just got some crappy structure genes, but he has done the best he can, which IS bodybuilding.

You've got a point, but no one else is good enough to beat him when it comes to size and conditioning. Victor Martinez would beat him hands down if he was as conditioned as Branch. The others look lanky or incomplete. Guess the whole line up is shallow compared to the guys from the 90s.

See, that's the problem, these contests have become about two things, size and conditioning. It's supposed to be a bodybuilding contest, not a mindless accumulation of muscle contest. Shape, symmetry, balance, detail, separation are supposed to count for something in a bodybuilding contest. Branch has none of that. None.

I agree. I admire guys like Jay and Branch for their work ethic and demeanour, but I wouldn't want to look like them. The top guys from the 90s are head and shoulders above 99% of the pros today.

Branches arms have gotten suspiciously bigger sinse the Olympia, jumping cable curls and seo seem to have a synergistic effect on his physique.
