Is this guy still gonna be able to do his steroids out there in the desert?

The year is 2011. The American military must test for steroids these days do they not? I know they load them up with dozens of shots of assorted shit to take. One would think they would also draw/test blood.

I'm know they turn a blind eye sometimes.

A guy I know was smoking weed and opium out there with the ANA. But that's all on the down low.  ;)

One would think officers would be held to a higher standard. Esp. in the military.

Seems like they should allow them to do gear. Make them more powerful death machines. Rip an Afghan guy's head right off his shoulders and suck the GH out of his brains.

Lots of guys out there are doing their drugs. It sounds like you can basically get your hands on anything out there if you are resourceful.

Fuck drug laws and drug testing anyway. If they allowed military dudes to do drugs I could maybe join.

As a vet over 22 years, I would think that a professional athlete such as David would be able to get a waiver from being deployed.  I dont know what career field he is in, but I do know Air Force wrestlers are able to leave their assignment to train in Colorado.  Maybe bodybuilding is not recognized in that way.
Generally, Air Force assignments are good and food and recreation is available.

I will say that pilots are given supplements to keep them focused and awake, I was given Test to maintain my weight and physical health, per my doc.

I went to many countries and saw good and bad, its my opinion that everyone in our country should have to serve at least two years...

Military certainly does test for juice, had a roommate get popped back in the day.  And any of you that believe your toolbag friends are smoking weed and other shit while in and think the military is turning a blind eye are dumb as shit.  they random drug test, so someone might get away with it if they smoke and don't come up to be tested....but there is no way in hell if someone does test positive they just "let it slide"  I saw it first hand, so unless you have served don't even bother weighing in with your "I've read.....know a buddy..... opinions..."  dismissed....

German soldier could have said the same thing during World War 2. What do you think about that?

And what was the outcome of that war? I laugh at your ignorance and your try at sarcasm.

Add to this, the roommate I had that got popped.  the test was requested by someone in the chain-of-command, which at that time, was the only way you would be tested for AAS.  All other drugs fall under the "random" testing system.

This is a good idea.  There's not many 18-20 year olds doing anything productive.  Kids like Tbombz wouldn't feel such entitlement.

Why are so many people hung up on the idea that you gotta do something "productive"?

 Life is not a job.

 Life is to be enjoyed.

If you want to be unproductive there is NOTHING wrong with that.

No doubt.  And the guy wasn't a monster and was a really stand-up guy.  Not sure who he pissed off along the way.  He never found out who it was.

i NEVER POST BUT i found this thread interesting and with such polarizing arguments I thought I would offer my
2 cents and i believe this is the truth.

Tbomz Coach you guys are all off.  Coach you are especially off and definitely come off as someone that is extreme and that doesn't know what they are talking about.   Do you ever admit you are wrong or take anyone elses opinions serious?  All you do is bash liberals and talk about bible but i would say a lot of your actions and attitude do not reflect christians that i know and respect.  I myself am a Christian, far from perfect before you go and call me a non christian muslim lover also. Also I consider myself a libertarian more on the conservative side.  I dont just regurgitate the rhetoric and agenda of right ring media, sean hannity's fox news etc etc...... with that disclosed let me tell you....

I appreciate the lady that posted about here experience being in the military.  That is true because she is there and can speak for herself and those that she personally knows.

My best friend since grade school is a naval officer and other friends are in the military also and i have heard all sides of the story and seen all sides of the spectrum.

Are there people that join the military because they think it is their duty and it is noble and they are serving their country?  Absolutely.  Are there lots of examples of this?  Yes absolutely.  Why? Because there are a lot of people in the armed forces!!!!

The military employs many many people and they have various intentions.

Just because people join the army to get paid and make a living doesnt mean they are doing it because they think they are going to get rich, coach you genius.  It is their best option from which they can choose from.

Tbombz, although he doesnt know a lot, is right that there is definitely a lot of young people joining the military because it is the best option in this economic climate and is their best option all things considered.  Its not going to make them rich, yes they have a chance of dying, but no that chance is relatively small.

My best friend can go on deployment to Dubai next year and save over 100,000 in a year and live a nice standard of life while there.

He can do in one year what it takes someone else 5 years to do.  A lot of americans can not save 20,000 a year i would say most do not.  The earnings are tax free and the stipend given for living is more than generous and can be saved.  Living is in 4-5 star hotels because of safety need i say more.....

I know plenty of others that dont make as much because they are enlisted and he is an officer but still do it for the money and it is the best option.  Do they like to be deployed and away from their family? no.  Do they like to be in the middle east or other unfavorable areas....probably not.  Do a lot of them believe in what they are doing......some do some dont it is pretty even i would say on both sides, but absolutely a huge factor is the money, and it is a good option.

Everyone has to survive and pay bills and support a family...you do that by having a job...some people like their job some do not...some people believe in what they are doing some do not...all in all you are working for a paycheck.  This is simple concept and military is no different.

I know young people that are being deployed to afghanistan that are juicing and taking sust and dbol beforing deploying....hitting me up and asking me or gym buddies what can they take in place of hcg because they wont be able to refigerate over there.....

These are all people from California coach....in socal and norcal......

I know plenty of people that stay on weekend reserve.....why??? for the money..... they also do a few week deployments once a year in hawaii and guam etc..... and get paid well and have semi vacation on off time

Alot of people on reserve just praying they dont get deployed but need to work the reserve to get pay rent....

Coach you are a blind and ignorant person if you do not think there is a tradeoff and the military does not know what it offers and why it offers it to attract and retain people.

There are people in the military that believe in what they do, there are people in the military that are gay and that are even muslim?  Tough to believe? Its true.  Like any employer and employee relationship there are numerous reasons why people work their jobs and payoffs and consequences that they consider and weigh. Some believe in valor, in discipline etc etc...

a lot of people do it because it is a living..... a lot of people dont believe in it and express a lot of insight about how they really feel about the country, military, their job and the opinions are all over the place.

To think that there are not a lot of young people in the military because they want to blow up shit and get paid is extremely naive and absolutely false.

To think that there are not a lot of people in the military because they believe in what they do is also absolutely false.

Now lets hear what people have to say

If a company, say MicroSoft, had a reputation of hiring minorities, those from a predominately poor or under privilege background; say they even advertised that they encourage those without an advance degree or academic achievements and would help provide funding for college or even provide their own training and education programs. Lets say they even had commercials that said something like, "Don't know what you want to do in life? No opportunities for you? Can't afford college? Going nowhere fast? -- JOIN MICROSOFT!"

Such a company would be hailed as a godsend! It would be a Liberal's wet dream. They'd question why other companies don't follow suit. They might even start pressuring and even demanding other companies do the same. They'll say that all companies should be like that -- except if it's for the military.

BTW, it is simply not true that the military is compose primarily of minorities, the poor, and those without an education.

That is true. Everyone has the right to be unproductive. Just as long as they do it on their on dime. Problem is that many, if not most, of the unproductive people in society are loafing on someone else's expense.

In America, if the land is not temporary privately owned, it is owned by the government. They built a system where you can't live off the land without paying into the system. Its almost impossible to be bum living on the street without paying into the system one way or another.(food tax, booze tax etc). So even a bum is not totally unproductive.
