that's not kai main gym!  he just started there when your buddy palumbo started calling it mecca east.  it's slumberger's gym and the trolls in the ifbb are pushing it.  mecca east? 

i'm assuming that ryan is commenting about TX.  kluco will be mr o befoe kai. 

yeah...slumberger is a heavy weight trainer.     next thing DAD of the FAT SON will make it a mandate to train there in the NPC or you dont win a show.

As long as their are vid clips of The Unbelievable and Cost of Redemption, Metroplex will always be the gym of Legend and heat, just like Dorian's gym. Golds in Venice will be the gym of Flex, who never lived up to to his Olympia potential or Chris Cormier and Charles Glass the superstar trainer.

No, Mr. O winners. Sure there are Arnold Classic winners, like Kai and Vic, and Kevin's 202, but aside from those, nothing...usually the unheard of places with less "distractions" produce the champs.

i realized that, after I typed it...Kai and the like, and Charles was or has trained all of them. I guess it could be between Venice and Metroflex.

Kuclo should get his pro card soon and I think he will do damage as a pro. IMO, better than Evan. Complete physique, 6 foot tall, with no weaknesses, only conditioning. Hard ass trainer as well and can throw up some crazy weight with good form.

It would be crazy to see Branch win the Olympia, but I can actually see it happening and IMHO, even though he represents Dallas, doesn't have a very pleasing physique. The IFBB, however, loves that type of underdog, and Branch fits that very well, a hard working guy who keeps to himself, doesn't engage in gossip, partying, drug dealing accusations and just a quiet southern boy!

Maybe he was "off" but I was really shocked when I saw Kucklo at the arnold this weekend.

If I didnt know he was a national level competitor someone would have had to tell me.

He wasnt as wide as he looks onstage, had round shoulders but not very wide. Had a regular guy at the gym back and his arms werent out of this world big.

I was very surprised at how underwhelmed I was because he's supposed to be a future mr.o contender.

I agree about Kuclo, although he might go the Chris Cook route---remember the one's we think will be Mr. O tend not to be...they flame out...

And if Branch won Mr O looking like a T-Rex with a shitty back, then you know something is up---that will be the standard, which keeps getting lower every yr.

if branch wins the O...it's the MetroFlex, Brian Dobson and Ronnie Coleman legacy.  that's what i think when i see Branch.  Yeah...he is ugly as sin but he lives for the IRON like Ronnie...tearing muscles and shit    and i like the idea that Kluco is in that mix.

phil beat jay in pre-judging at the O i'm sure you would agree but Chick's 2nd night rule kicked in so they had to place Jay 1st because he couldn't make up the ground on phil.  That being said...phil has caught up to Jay, will be improved again this yr.  Phil is their glamor boy MrO probably followed by Evan who is yrs off from catching up to phil.

Kai is a fat piece of shit, cant hold the weight at his height to beat jay, and now, phil has caught him too and will continue to improve based on age as kai and jay decline.

people are doing crack if they think the IFBB will pass on a sure thing with phil as MrO for a couple of yrs followed by Kluco or Evan or some star we havent seen yet.

Kai is like Flex Wheeler.  they'll give him all the Arnolds he wants until he loses body parts but he'll never win the O.  

Branch will win before kai beats phil for MrO and MetroPlex will be the new mecca.
