I saw them feeding this morning. The older/stronger one seems like a bully, pecking on the other one and taking all the food. Mom make no attempt to go out of her way to feed the other one
I was reading that is common among babies, especially if the first hatched is a female. Fratricide is fairly common. Don't know if I'll be able to continue to watch if that happens. I wasn't going to view after reading this but thought I'd take a peek and they are feeding. I thought since I only saw two that the third was dead but realize it's still an egg Has anyone tried to get on the "chat"?
No. If you go in there maybe the people will say that both babies are doing well and you can tell us. And if they say only one is doing well you can still tell us they are both fine

Dad brought breakfast! They have a regular smorgasbord going on up there. I bet the 3rd egg hatches today. It looks like it's got a hole now. Open the door ditzy!

Dad almost knocked one of the babies out of the next the other day. It was a very tenuous situation for quite awhile.Damit! He just did it again
Clumsy ox. He better fix this before mom gets home.

They are strong birds to tote those big branches and build a nest that large ... I watched for about an hour but saw no movements at all so I'm clueless on whether they were occupied or not .. I was hoping to see an eagle

I'm sure it was the male birds that did all the heavy work...

I'm sure it took awhile too ... having to stop and look at it every time they added a stick and pat themself on the back
