the swedish newspapers are reporting that japan is lying about there nuclear plants, that the radiation leakage is in fact almost as bad as the tjernobyl accident........but this is the swedish newspapers and they suck ass.

I am really pissed off at the european news, Germany is as bad as well.

They are sitting 9000km away, don't understand Japanese, have NO fucking clue about nuclear physics and yet they all know what's going on.  ::) ::)

Yep, cooling water obviously does not fill it's task and cores are about to melt. This can be sum huge shit. Some huge shit.

US guys already scared and took little distance. Aircraft carrier was moved little more away from Japan as they measured some radioactivity after sailing through radioactive clouds... This is not a good sign, right?

sources?

Fact is we dont know whats going on. every 3 hours or so they say it's "possibly stable" then "it might possible that we dont know if it might be unstable" etc etc with the medias playing word games to scare the shit out of the readers... The way CNN cover the whole thing is repulsive, with the background musics, the fake facial expressions of anchors who have a hard time hiding their boners...That's just unhealthy. The ads for cars, computers, pregnancy tests with actors smiling etc between the vids of the disaster on TV or on the internet just make you feel bad. What a strange world we live in.

My opinion is that there have been leaks of radioactive steams, clouds, vapors whatever you call it in the air , in the water, and that it's either flying over the sea or over the ground depending of the winds. That the workers and politics know that they have no other choice but to bullshit people and the whole world or people wouldnt be able to sustain the reality of what's going on. When you cant contain a problem, you focus on bullshiting people cause there's nothing else to do at this point. All governments do this. The fact is that all countries relying on nuclear plants cannot accept what is going on and might even help japan cover what can still be hidden from the public. I'm talking about leaks in the air of radioactive materials.

I think they should just give up the island already, evacuate everyone, including the searching teams, soldiers, wether they are japanese or foreigns and just relocate the japanese population in the US, period. The island is lost.
I feel for both koreas and china, other asian countries... if these reactors are leaking they ll keep leaking for years and everyone will be exposed somehow.

Isn't Fox News the one where Homer Simpson is a newscaster?

sources?

It's true, they had three people getting the amount of radiation you would normally get in one month.

But the radiation is supposed to come from the venting of the reactor.

where? in the vicinity of the reactors? on the ground? over the sea? what he said was that american soldiers on american ships at sea were exposed to radiation...didnt see any proof of that anywhere...

hence my question; SOURCES?

fuck they re saying radioactive water might be leaking in the ground from a reactor that has cracks in its containment hull....

http://www.cnn.com/video/flashLive/live.html?stream=stream3&hpt=T1

they are evacuating OPERATORS ON THE SITE...

they are unable to contain leaks of radioactive water in the ground...

they are confirming american soldiers on ships at large have been exposed ot radiations from the plants... ....... they are "cleaning" the soldiers and ships...

America now on nuclear alert

'Worst-case scenario' could send nuclear cloud across Pacific
30,000ft winds would carry radioactive material across the ocean
U.S.S. Ronald Reagan hit by month's radiation in just one hour
Japanese reactors are very similar to 23 in America

holy shit PM and officials are shiting their pants live on tv....

http://www.cnn.com/video/flashLive/live.html?stream=stream3&hpt=T1

PM said he was badly informed of what was really going on by tokyo electric company. That the cabinet of PM is disgusted by what they ve learned.

they are asking people to evacuate and to people who are inside 30 km to stay inside and shut doors and windows.

They are saying to stay indoor to be safe from radiations carried by the winds...

Lol, epic scaremongering, the average hospital x-ray give you the same amount of radiation youd get in 2 months.

The question is, whole japan would be illed in case of the nuclear meltdown.
I am trying to convince my dad and mom to come here Spain.
But, they say that they dont need to. :-\

Me too. I'm trying to get my brother and sister in law to at least think about heading further south, but they're just saying where they are (Chiba) it's like nothing has happened and everything is as normal. Except for the fact that they can't get food and fuel! Jesus - that should be reason enough to leave. I'm not sure what they're hearing over there.
