It's a great exercise but for most guys it's too heavy to perform good ones, i.e. full ROMs with moderate speed with the bar right before the eyes on top.

I'm guessing that you're not currently employed in any investigative field, correct?
The chick counting reps was still counting after he had stopped moving, let go of the bar, AND started walking to the camera.....I'm going to go out on a limb and say the video wasn't meant to be serious.  ::)

Of course I understand the irony sir "sherlock", but I was expecting at least one decent rep

Bump for strength

Meso can you tell us how long you've been training and your body composition and size through the years.  I have a feeling you have been doing this a while.

I've been training for a long time.. started out skinny but muscular
started at 170 abs and peaked bis trained for nearly 10 yrs now
gaining size over the years always lean always having ripped abs
Ive always trained super hard even though I don't have to I gain muscle easily .  All my bodyparts are quite developed barring calves i still pound the hell out of them as i like the challenge

I do the exercises people run away from like deads from the floor chins oldschool tbar row , squats , front squats dumbell presses
I don't ego train , like having some one help on the bench and do half the work, or skip chins to do pulldowns so everyone will see me yank the stack down..like a lot of guys do ... when they cant even do 5 chins.
I don't diet or eat 6 meals a day , i don't do any kind of drugs and never will.  I don't need to, good genetics run in my family.. my brother is also quite big.  Right now I'm 219 exactly 5'11 single digit bf arms a shade under 20 inches
I'm just a guy with good genetics that love HONEST HARD training. Loving to train hard is key. I'm comfortable with being me... my goal is to always be a better version of me.. which i have successfully done year after year.

It's actually going great starting to make some progress again.  I had been doing very low reps of some bodyweight and gymnastics type exercises (like OAC, levers, planches and ring work with one leg squats for lower body), but it really started to beat down my body and I had stopped making any gains.  Now I'm back to doing more standard bodyduilding style splits with standard exercises and around 3 sets of 12 reps, joints are perfect and muscle is starting to grow again.  I used to try to set new personal bests everyday and it became all about ego and my form and muscle connection suffered.  Now I try to use the weights as tools to work the muscle and not an end in and of themselves.  You might think it is an ego blow to go down in weight, I thought it would be, but actually it is a relief from the pressure of trying to set world records all the time.

Sounds good man... Why did you originally switch to gymnastic movements?
I dont try to set personal best frequently ... I'll know in my mind for months up to a year for instant on bench I'll not bench for six months but I'll know by my progress in dungeons that's I've broken my personal best in bench ... Then one chest day I'll just do it .. Then I'll not bench again for months
But I never become fixated on 1rm I like to lifer heavy weight for reps

Just wanted to learn the planche and lever and ended up liking them so much I switched a lot of my training over, and at first I was making gains.  Eventually though I learned what everyone already knows, under 6 reps does not cause much hypertrophy.

I always wanted to be able to do a "flag."  Seems like that would be a fun trick to pull out from time to time.

It's not that hard but kills the supporting (lower) wrist.
