Need Advices... Gh15? Getbiggers?
« on: March 14, 2011, 08:06:14 PM »
Here i am after a long lay over from hardcore bodybuilding. I was unemployed for about 3 months in the winter and now trying to get back on my feet. This is probably part of the reason for that lack in quality in my gains :(. This sadly is the biggest and leanest I've been ever. Here i am at about 208-210. I don't want to get any heavier then this this off season and i want to improve on the quality of it before i start dieting. I am about 23 and 26 weeks out (doing 2 shows). I am having a bit of a problem. I notice that my chest is pretty thick from the side but skimpy from the front especially during FDB and Front lat spreads. Im about to drop doing heavy smith inclines and switch to flat heavy DB as my base exercise.

It looks like what i need to work on most are the side of my arms and pecs... My problem with pecs is my delts overpower them and are taking the bulk of the load when i train chest. I need advices. My arms have made great gains in size but still look small too.

Siderbar: The magical lamp had to go into retirement so getbig gets the raw deal. Yes... i know i look like fat shit.

I miss the blue dust ruffle.  :(

PS. Your delts do not "overpower"  your chest- not even close. Keep doing exactly what you've been doing. Change nothing.

PS II. If you head out to California give me a call/text/email.  I'll buy you lunch.

you need to learn how to workout your chest with minimal delt involvement. study some anatomy charts, watch tons of videos of lean bodybuilders training chest and pay attention to how the chest contracts while the delts remain relatively still.  keep your shoulder blades pinched, back slightly arched, pull your arms forward by squeezing your chest.

once you learn proper form focus on one exercise only. specialization breeds effeciency. flat bench is king, maybe a slight decline to hel;p take the shoulders out of it. focus on getting stronger every week. if your not, then you either did too much or too little. staying away from failure while keeping the weights heavy is a good way to avoid over training and keep gains progressing.

You do not need to "work" on any specific body part. Genetics will determine what you body ends up looking like. You just need to get bigger, bottom line. Side note, front latspread your hands go on the side of your obliques.

I have no clue.. They usually don't lose any size. Right now they are 18+ -18.5 consistently when i measure them but i don't feel they look that way. For the longest time they were stuck in the 17's but i got around it eventually. I have never gotten a chance to measure them pumped but id give a half inch max. They are probably 18.5-19 pumped.

I see stuff like this and think holy hell... 23!?!? How do you look like this at 23. Very unmotivational for an individual like myself. Maybe people are right... bodybuilders are getting worse and worse these days.

Learning all the time what the judges want to see - the thong is disappearing further into the crack over time!

Butt seriously Leafy...you have an awesome physique that is very well balanced.

I heard one judge said he usually knocks people down a place when he sees that kind of stuff but because i was the only one that year with glute striations that he let it slide.... i don't know what the hell they want anymore. I actually though that was pretty conservative considering ive seen trunks much smaller then that on other competitors.

NO!! Bringing them forward has zero effect on lat extension. Try this, stand relaxed hands to side, now flex your lats out as far as possible now bend you elbows without bring them forward and put your hands on your obliques.

i'm the same age as Kevin. i was 24 getting ready for the Canadian nationals when he and Paul Demayo were battling it out for the americans. they were unreal even though we were all the same height and weight.

My advice is start upping the dosage, add gh if haven't already ;D

And.... Start learning how to pose. You are not making the most out of your physique "presenting," it like that.

Any idea what those guys took to look that different from the other guys at their age/height?
