It is now a medically accepted fact that people respond to light exposure in different ways. For instance, exposure to light during normal daylight hours helps maintain normal circadian rythyms (body clock rhythms). Some people also become depressed when deprived of adequate daylight. They suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.).

We are also affected by the spectrum of colors that are the components of natural light. We often express our emotions in terms of color - "feeling blue" or "seeing red". What is less well known is that careful analysis of our own preferences for individual colors can accurately reflect our unique personalities and state of physical well-being.

The Research
In the early 20th century, renowned psychologists Dr. Max Luscher and Dr. Theo Gimbel developed Rudolph Steiner's basic principles. Luscher and Gimbel suggested that people invariably chose colors for their direct association with their current physical state and psychological needs.
What is new, is the Colorgenics Personality Test  system, and the way Paul Goldin has harnessesed 21st century computing power to analyse those color preferences.

Years of painstaking research in behavioural psychology have enabled Paul Goldin to develop a sophisticated but remarkably easy to use computer program. By examining your individual color preferences, Colorgenics speedily reveals to you your underlying character traits, and also provides an incisive insight into your physical well-being.

How it works

Meeting of the minds - Paul Goldin & Max Lucher, 1997
The Colorgenics program is made up of eight standard colors - you simply select these colors in your preferred order. The number of ways in which these eight colors can be ordered is vast, and it is in the analysis of these permutations - and specifically the one personal order that you choose - that the power of the Colorgenics program becomes apparent......<more>

Oh brother.......what a load of horse shit. ::)

Quote
At this particular time, you are feeling that you are or were unjustly and undeservedly treated and/or betrayed in your hopes and dreams. You feel that everything is against you. But look on the bright side for you are, whether you believe it or not, a survivor.

You are very self-sufficient and methodical. You presume to know where you are going but need to find a person who will recognise the way you are, not be too demanding and who is, as they say in Italy, 'Simpatico'.

The situation at this time is one of considerable distress. You feel trapped and you are looking for some way out. You can find solace in the arms of someone who cares so long as there is no long-term emotional involvement.

For some time now your hopes and expectations have been denied and because of this you are becoming withdrawn and introverted. Continual disappointment has manifested itself in you becoming both suspicious and restrained you have become withdrawn from others and have receded more and more into yourself. You seem to have lost your innate enthusiasm and imaginative nature, for fear that you may be carried away by it only to find that you are wasting your time. You are loath to trust people, as in the past your trust has been misplaced. You seem to be keeping yourself cautiously aloof from others. At this moment in time your attitude is to trust nobody - until they can prove themselves to you.

You are moody and depressed at this time but it will pass. All of your hopes and dreams seem to have gone astray and you are fearful of planning further for the future. Disappointment at the non fulfilment of your hopes and the fear that to formulate fresh goals will only lead to further setbacks have resulted in considerable anxiety and you try to escape from this by withdrawing into yourself. But that is not the answer. You have the power to succeed, believe in yourself... all is possible to him who believes
