I treat them so gently as the wood is around 500 years old.  160 years old being the age of the house and the trees the heart pine came from was at least 300-400 years old before it was cut down from first generation long-leaf pine.  All of the long leaf pine has been long gone and wiped out, so these type of floors are one of a kind.  You tend to see them in all National Historic buildings and houses as they were first choice for building.

I only use Bona on them and hands and knees with a gentle hand brush and dust pan.

So far so good, being back and forth between two cities is somewhat a hassle as its taking a while for Jezebelle and I to pack things up.  We tend to get sidetracked at times and plan alternate routes to pick up antiques here and there.  I will have to tell you about a giant menacing meltdown I had already.  Its one you will absolutely enjoy.   :D

theres actually alot of houses "inda hood" with epic hardwoods under layers of shit ( carpet, glue, paint ect) only to be brought back to splendor with proper staining and sanding. But the one true evil seems to be dog piss to hardwoods, then youll just have to stain super dark
