Very good clip.  I agree with him 100% about the Congress' abdication of its responsibilities relating to wars.  Too much power in the presidency.

I like the fact that you can compare what he is saying now with what he said, 3, 5, 10, 15, 25 years ago...  No other politician has been this steadfast in what he believes.  There's no setup or lies with this guy, if you vote for him, you get what he stands for...  What other politician out there can promise and deliver that?  Ron Paul man...  Ron Paul is the only one who you will get what you vote for.  He's the only one that's put the time in with a granite track record.

What do you think he is crazy on?    IMHO - he is logically consistent with all his views.

I said I like some of his stuff but don't like it all

for example (and I assume this quote is accurate)

Has he ever legislated that belief upon others?

My point was that while he may believe what you posted, he is free to have his beliefs all he wants.  Its a free country.  What matters is whether he tried to impose that on others.

I just don't agree with everything he says

I blame the terrorist state of Pakistan 100% for the reason why we're still in Afghanistan. They've played this double game since the battle of Tora Bora and have consistently stabbed us in the back...all while we continue to send them $3+ billion every year.

But if our government knows this is being done, then who's fault is it really?

Fool me once shame on you...Fool me twice...

Never said our government was smart. Countless experts have written at length about our suicidal policies with Pakistan and they just can't understand why we handle them like we do.

Just saying... The blame is not only with Pakistan, but those who let them get away with that kind of shit.

Yes.  We do need to clarify our mission in Afghanistan.  I've had questions about what we're really doing there today.  But as I read more about who we are fighting, it's pretty clear we need to be there.  We have to take the fight to Al Qaeda and any government assisting them.

He really is overstating our need to pull troops.  Sounds isolationist.  We shouldn't be sitting at home waiting for the next 9/11.
