I actually know Rashad. Believe me, the guy is not at all cocky and I feel bad that he's in this situation. That said, I think he has a very good chance of derailing Bones.

Yes, as long as Bones decides to capture Gaddafi on the morning of the fight.

Mindless "knows" Rashad. Therefore Rashad has a great chance of winning. I don't know about you guys, but my mind is officially changed. I thought Jones would take it easy on Rashad and let the fight go into the second round. However, because Mindless is good friends with Rashad, I am changing my mind to Jones winning by first round TKO.

Are you still on your period ... Lol.

Never said I was good friends with him. I know him. Have met him multiple times at Jacksons in NM. And the only reason why I brought that up was to vouch for him being a really nice guy instead if the cocky POS that most people think he is.

As for Bones, of the current LHW lineup, I think Rashad has the best chance. That doesn't mean I think he would win.

I also think Rashad will be the toughest fight for Bones yet.  Much more speed with Rashad.  He'll be able to get in on Jones and hit him.  I actually thought Rashad coulda beaten Rua.

However, Jones will probably run the show again.  I did notice that when Rashad entered the octagon after the Jones fight, Jones seemed really rattled and couldn't seem to look at Rashad.  I wonder if Rashad tooled him in sparring..  maybe Jones a little intimiated?

Totally disagree-- Rua would demolish Rashad.

I don't know why you guys give him so much respect-- he is one dimensional, strikes with almost no power and is scared to get hit.

Lets also not forget that he ran like a little girl from Rampage's power. Do you really think he is going to stand there in front of Jones and get broken into little pieces? Jones outclasses Rashad in every facet of his game and is 10x bigger and stronger.

The only only only thing that Rashad might have on Jones is a psychological edge because he's older, more experienced, knows his strengths and weaknesses inside out, and Jones looks up to him the way a little brother looks up to his older brother.

But beyond that, Jones' has shown no signs of being weak mentally-- And I highly doubt Rashad will be able to rattle him. Also bare in mind that Jones knows all of Rashads strengths and weaknesses as well.

Looks like the ladies who make awesome ribs at Gatlins in Houston.

Is it true you taught Rashad the nipple tweak?

Nope.  He learned it from your mom. :P

Rashad is much faster than Rua.  That alone is the reason that i give him more of a chance.  Someone needs to sneak in and connect with Jones.  Rua is way too slow to do that.  Rashad has fast hands and may be able to get inside.  Don't get me wrong, I give the edge strongly to Bones..

You, Rashad's family members, and about 10 other people on the planet like Rashad. :D He mostly brought it on himself by picking a war with fan favorite Rampage. However, even prior to the Rampage feud, he annoyed many with his talking and crotch grabbing in the cage. He was running his mouth even as Machida was seconds away from knocking him out cold.  ;D

Rashad's probably a good guy, but he comes across as a douche bag much of the time. He is loudly and soundly BOOED whenever he makes a public appearance, and will be severely booed at every press event leading up to the Jones fight.

Sure, Rashad has a chance of beating Bones. Number one, he's talented. And two, he knows Bones from training with him every day. That said, I don't see it. I think Bones is a taller, younger and even more athletic version of Rashad.

Interesting tweet by Bones today:

Him trying to hold me down round after round RT @psvolcom88: @Jonnybones what do you think will be most dangerous about rashad?

Jon knows full well the "lay n' pray" strategy will be Rashad's game plan when they fight.  ::)

I seriously doubt he's going to try to lay & pray with Jones...that would be foolish.

Good question.  Rashad has speed, athleticism, solid wrestling & explosive hands.  And he knows he's weaknesses better than anyone. But that may not be enough.  Jones looks like he defies physics.  He's a tall lanky guy that doesn't look like he would have much power, yet manages to throw guys around like rag-dolls.  You expected it from big/powerful guys like Rampage or Hamill.  But, when you  see Jones do it,  it's like seeing an insect like an ant pick up an object twice its size.  They do it effortlessly.
