Last count I had was 42 total. Of those 42, only 28 were getting laid with regularity.

nah man...saying that you are studying is one thing...doing it is another...
A LOT of engineers fall into that trap..they pass the CCIE written..then go back to their jobs...and whenever anyone asks "they r studying for their CCIE"...they say that just so they can work the word CCIE into the conversation...i ws the same way...

been honestly studying for 14 months  now...take the test..julyish...
300ish more questions to solve..5/day...thats 60 days to finish learning...and another 60 days for final prep...

man...eventually i'll want my security CCIE...just thinking about it makes me tired...i did a project 6 months ago with ASAs(bank of .blah)...took 3 months out of my study time and read the jazib farhim book ..man o man i ws out of my element...i got it done..but it took like 4ish months....didn't help that their network ws improperly mapped..
how much detail do you have to learn behind ..for example MD5...SHA(all the different flavors)...for the CCSP?
