There is only one man in this forum that knows all the details and intricacies on prostitution within the Dominican Republic.

If my memory serves me correct, he spent an ample amount of time within that island and managed to get a complete understanding regarding all matters related to their financial infrastructure, cultural influences, racial dissemination, political paradigms and most importantly their legalized prostitution in certain regions.

Ha ha , yes my friend. I will tell you a story that a friend of mine told me on his trip there. It goes something like this:
I first got introduced to this nasty side of the otherwise beautiful republic when i was on my first trip there at age 16.
Since there is no drinking age, and i was a handsome high schooler who liked the lifestyle that beer drinking brought with it, i decided to venture out and go visit the hotel bar for a beer and a cigarette.
As I'm sitting there, and drinking a rum and coke (their coke is much sweeter than American, and we know that since rum is in such ample supply, the drinks would literally be 75% rum, and still very sweet and easy on the throat), the bartender girl is making small talk with me.
"Where are you from?"
"America"
"Ah, what city?"
"Chicago"
"That's nice, how old are you?"
"16"
"Oh, that's nice"
"How old are you?"
"18" (she was full of shit, must've been around 30, but since black people don't age, there's no way of telling, she looked 18, but i knew better)
"That's nice"
"Yes, you stay at the hotel?"
"Yes, with my parents"
"Oh, you don't stay alone?"
"No, why?"
"You have a girl?"
"No, not here at least". I smiled. I didn't have a girlfriend back home either; as i was too busy being cool, i didn't have time for gay stuff like a girlfriend.
Anyways, to make a long story short, she asks me if i like girls, blah blah blah. She asks if i like dominican girls. I said there's many nice ones. Anyways, she asks if i want to go to a party with her friends later. About 6 of those rum and cokes in, i'm blitzed, on the verge of throwing up, but of course i say yes. I have about 3 more before she gets off work.
Some dude shows up in what looks like an old US Army Jeep, but it was graffitid. He smiles, says to get in. He gives me one of those hand rolled cigars. I light it up. The urge to throw up gets harsher. I decide to drive along. The car must've been diesel, or just shitty, because the stench coming out of the muffler was horrible, even in the clean Dominican air.
I remember faintly driving up a somewhat steep incline. I hurl once. You know how your vision gets blurred right after you throw up, from the tears? Well, through the tears i could see a tiny waterfall on the side of the road. I remember it like i just saw it yesterday.
Anyways, this guy who claims his name's Eddie and me are in the front, and the bartender chick's in the back. She pulls her top off (hotel issued shirt) and puts on a skin tight white wifebeater. First time I saw black tits in person.
Eddie hands me a flask. I take a swig of it, i have no clue what's inside. Earth turns upside down. We're still driving. The drive couldn't have been more than a couple miles, but because the road was so shitty and steep, it felt like forever.
Finally, we come to a house. It was made of wooden boards and painted green. Eddie asks me to go in.
I walk in.
People fucking everywhere. White dudes, Asian dudes, lots of Eastern European dudes. Just two black dudes standing opposite of the front door with machetes. They smile at me. One of them walks up and asks if i want to take a swig. Some flask as Eddie's. I'm gone, I hold on to the doorway and somehow stumble in.
The rest is kind of hazy. I remember pulling out my wallet and giving money to all the girls. I remember faintly taking turns on about 5 of them. The guy with the machete asked for more money and put it to my throat. I gave him everything i had, which was around 100 dollars total. He gave me a flask again. I threw up on one of the chicks asses.
I woke up in the morning in front of the hotel lobby. We arrived Sunday, this all happened Tuesday night. I didn't see the bartender girl again. To this day, i'm happy i haven't gotten aids.
